My son who was diagnosed with dysgraphia and ADHD, was reading 2 years below reading level and his writing was completely disorganized. After 3 months with Anna, every one of his middle school teachers reached out to me to praise his progress. She truly is a miracle worker!!

I have been searching for a program like Sunnyside Literacy Lab for my children, aged 8 and 6, to boost their decoding and reading fluency.
The Word Study course has met my expectations, focusing on phonics, morphology, and fluency.
Through its use of the Orton-Gillingham method, a research-based multisensory approach, the program makes reading accessible and engaging for learners challenged by reading and spelling.

We started with the Sunnyside Literacy Lab to help my then–kindergarten-aged son maintain his reading skills over the summer.
He not only sustained his reading skills, but screened above benchmark in phonics in his diagnostic at the start of first grade.
I’ve also noticed that stronger literacy skills have made math word problems easier for him, which I wasn’t expecting but am so grateful for.
The sessions are relaxed, engaging, and very hands-on, so my son is always happy to go!
Despite having an IEP, my son was not getting all his needs met, no matter what we tried. He also was burnt out since covid, and no longer wanted to read. My avid reader now hated reading anything and everything.
I spoke with Anna on an intake call in mid-August 2024. She took time to hear all my concerns and worries. We started at the beginning of the school year, and I am so grateful for his Sunnyside Literacy Lab class.
My son likes to read again! He also began writing again and learned some great organizational writing tools that carried over into school. His ELA grade has gone up, and his ELA teacher noticed he is participating more and doing his work with less push back.
